Why jute
Strong, breathable and fully natural. The practical way to take plastic out of packaging.
Breaks down naturally in soil, leaving no microplastics behind.
Ready to harvest in about four months, with little fertiliser or pesticide.
Air moves through the weave, keeping coffee, cocoa and grain in good condition at sea.
High tensile strength and a rough grip, so filled bags stack firmly and can be reused many times.
Demand for natural packaging keeps growing as markets move away from single-use plastic.
The same jute that carries grain across oceans becomes rugs, totes, rope, geotextiles and fabric for homes and brands.
